The HORSEMANSHIP RIDING CAMP is designed to teach beginner and intermediate riders the skills of English horse-back riding, the basics of horse care, and safety around the barn. Riding opportunities (twice daily) include structured lessons, trail rides and games on horseback. The campers also spend time with arts and crafts, nature activities, hands-on learning of special horse care skills, and the Friday afternoon camp horse show.

WEEK 1: June 12 – 16 9AM – 3PM age 7 years & up

WEEK 3: July 10 – 14 9AM – 3PM age 7 years & up

The YOUNG RIDER CAMP is a shorter, age-appropriate version of the Horsemanship camp. We invite observers during camp on Fri.
YOUNG RIDER CAMP – $175 per week
WEEK 2: June 19 – 23 9AM – 12 Noon age 5 – 7 years

The TRAIL RIDING ADVENTURE CAMP includes many aspects of the Horsemanship camp, with a heavy focus on trail riding skills, trail safety, and a possible full-day lunch ride. This camp will be utilizing both trails on the farm property plus the many miles of the Shelby County trail system adjacent to the farm. Campers this week will have the opportunity to help develop an equestrian trail and also learn about local wetlands and conservation efforts.

*Experienced riders preferred but beginners may be accepted – please contact us with any questions. (*Each camp week does some trail riding – this week just covers more trails, including ones that may be more challenging for first-time riders.)
