TRAILBLAZING CAMP – an iGET UP® camp experience

This summer we will have multiple TRAILBLAZING CAMPS, staffed by licensed area therapists and professional equestrian trainers. We are excited to be able offer these camps to the children of the Mid-South and provide a fun, safe environment for them to experience all the benefits of equine assisted psychotherapy.
We welcome your questions – please contact us to learn more about Trailblazing Camps and SCF iGET UP Therapy programs. All therapy-related questions &/or inquiries from therapists will be answered by our Director, Dr.Susan Elswick.

A fun, groundbreaking, Trailblazing path to iGET UP – experience new learning starting from the ground with horses as coaches. This is a therapeutic horse camp where your child will have the ability to learn skills aimed at improving social skills, peer interaction, emotional literacy, self-regulation, and self-esteem.  The camp activities will include interacting with the horses, participating in therapeutic programming, games, art activities, and a processing group. Lessons/activities with the horses will be a mix of on-the-ground time and mounted riding.
